We prepped a guy to get ready for a heart transplant. He's been here for about a week and was about to be put on the list (hearts aren't really a common thing to find) until we found out he shot someone in the past...and hence got taken off the list.
Now we have to prep him for an artificial assist device.
Sigh.

out of curiousity, why did it take a week to find out he had shot someone in the past? Must be tough to have to turn someone away like that even though they had a bad past :/
